Are you confident supporting Maths and helping young people build confidence in the classroom? New Directions are currently recruiting Maths Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school experience, tutoring experience, graduate experience, or a strong Maths background looking to gain further classroom experience.

The role may involve:

  • Supporting pupils in Maths lessons on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Helping students stay engaged and focused during lessons
  • Working alongside teaching staff to support learning outcomes
  • Providing additional support for pupils who may need encouragement or intervention
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

We're looking for individuals who are:
