We are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Cardiff. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with young people who are seeking flexible work within education.
The Role
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson
- Support a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (education-based experience desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence managing groups of secondary-aged pupils
- A flexible, professional, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
