Due to growing demand, we are particularly interested in candidates seeking full-time Learning Support Assistant roles, although flexible opportunities may also be available.
About the Learning Support Assistant Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide essential classroom support, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This Learning Support Assistant position may involve supporting individuals, small groups, or whole-class activities across different age groups and abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing classroom support as a Learning Support Assistant
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development
- Working alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons
- Supporting children with additional learning needs when required
- Delivering small-group intervention sessions
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and progress
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
- – Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or similar school-based role
- – Previous classroom experience is essential
- – A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- – Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- – A flexible, proactive and positive attitude
