We are working exclusively with a SEND school setting in the Walsall area, who are seeking a passionate, engaging and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026 on a full-time basis with the opportunity to go permanent with the school.

We are hiring an additional Key Stage 1 SEND TA for this school due to expanded student numbers from September. You will need to have previous experience supporting individuals with SEND needs; this can be from education, however, the school is happy to appoint an applicant with transferrable experience from fields such as residential, support or care work.

The school has a “family feel” which they pride themselves on and they take an active role in supporting their staff, whether supporting through their qualifications and also proactively supporting their staff’s wellbeing.

This role will be working term-time only, on Monday to Friday, for the hours of 08:30 to 3:25. This role will be starting from Tuesday 1st September and you will be given full training and support.

This position pays from £92.56 to £98.73 depending on experience and qualifications.
