New Directions are on the lookout for motivated and passionate individuals looking to make a start in their career in education. As this is an unqualified position we are happy to accept applicants with a health and social care background.

We have a range of FREE CPD training courses, from Safeguarding to Autism Awareness, which will teach you the relevant skills and attributes necessary for supporting children in our schools. At New Directions, we are committed to providing excellent and exceptional support to schools right across Liverpool and Knowsley. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a heart for helping children.

The Role

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Support pupils in accessing a personalised curriculum tailored to their individual needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A background within the Care sector or child-like environment.
  • Is confident in managing challenging behaviour in a patient and proactive manner.
  • Demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils.

Requirements

  • References covering the last 5 years.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
