New Directions are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work in a Secondary school based in Stockport. The role is starting in September on a full time, long term basis until Christmas in the first instance.

The School: Mainstream secondary school based in Stockport, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’. The school is recognised for its strong leadership, high-quality teaching, and commitment to pupil development. Supportive and pro-active senior leadership team.

The Role:

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
  • Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 3:30pm

The Candidate will:

  • Hold a PGCE and UK QTS (or QTLS)
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
  • Manage behaviour
  • Build relationships with students
