A secondary school in St Helens is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Art & Design Teacher to join their arts department from September through to December. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about the arts and committed to helping students develop confidence, creativity, and artistic skills.

The Role
- Full-time Art & Design teaching role from September to December
- Teaching Art & Design across Key Stage 3

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art & Design lessons that cater to a range of abilities
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, experimentation, and confidence
- Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support improvement and attainment
- Prepare students for assessments in line with curriculum expectations
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Art & Design within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
- Has excellent subject knowledge
- Is committed to supporting pupil progress and engagement in creative learning
