We are seeking a long‑term Primary SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1-to-1 with two children in a mainstream school setting in the Darlaston area. You will be working in the morning with a child in Reception who is autistic and awaiting further diagnosis, which will involve lots of play-based learning. In the afternoon, you will work with a Year 1 child with pre-set interventions set by the SENCo.
This role will continue until the end of the academic year ending July 2027, though it may change slightly based on potential SEND provision transfers. This position is term‑time only, working 08:30 to 15:30 on a full‑time basis (Monday to Friday).
You will be paid a week in arrears at a rate of pay from £92.63 to £95.06, dependent on experience and qualifications. We welcome applications from individuals with both school experience and also transferable experience from sectors such as residential, support or care work.
