Pre-School Nursery Assistant

We’re recruiting Nursery Assistants to work within on-site pre-school settings at welcoming primary schools across the Wirral from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for caring and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy helping young children learn through play while supporting their development in a nurturing school environment.

The Role

• Supporting children within pre-school and nursery settings
• Assisting with play-based learning and daily routines
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional and communication development
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with the Early Years team to support every child’s individual needs

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working within a nursery, pre-school or Early Years setting
• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
