New Directions Education is currently working with a number of primary schools in the Newport area who are looking to appoint reliable and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their teams. About the Role:
You will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals. Duties may include:
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra guidance
- Supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
- Helping to maintain a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have experience working with children, schools or support settings
- Are calm, adaptable and approachable
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one
