- New Directions are currently recruiting for a
- Year 6 Teacher to work in a welcoming primary school based in
Salford , starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time, temporary role .

The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum.
You will play an important role in preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school and ensuring they are making strong academic and personal progress.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
- Preparing pupils for SATs and supporting them to reach their full potential.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress.
- Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
- Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and parents where required.
The Ideal Candidate
Must hold QTS.
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Able to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.
