New Directions are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across our partner primary schools throughout Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, are confident stepping into different classroom environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching. We are looking for teachers who are confident teaching across the full primary age range, from EYFS through to Year 6. A flexible approach is essential, as you may be required to work across different year groups and school settings depending on the needs of our partner schools.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, following school planning where provided
- Adapt quickly to different year groups, schools and classroom environments
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations
- Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
- Provide feedback to the school on pupil engagement and progress where appropriate
The Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent UK primary teaching experience
- Confident teaching across EYFS to Year 6
- A flexible, reliable and adaptable approach
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
