New Directions is currently recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant in Stockport, who can support primary aged learners with SEMH & Complex Needs. This role is longer-term, full-time to commence asap – and would suit somebody with SEMH experience in either a mainstream or SEMH setting.
The School:
- Primary School in Reddish, Stockport
- Strong focus on inclusion throughout the school
- Good links to public transport – commutable from Stockport, Manchester & Tameside
The Role:
- Classroom based teaching assistant for KS2 – supporting teaching and learning.
- Mostly general classroom support in small specialist classes – working with learners with SEMH, Complex Needs.
- Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -4pm
The Candidate:
- Recent experience working with primary aged students with SEMH (in either mainstream or SEND)
- Strong rapport building skills with a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
