We are working with a SEND support setting in the Smethwick area who are seeking to appoint an additional long-term SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support in their specialist SEND support provision.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a small group of students who are autistic, have global development delay and struggle to access the mainstream curriculum.
  • Provide support in a varied role within the specialist SEND provision.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with school-based SEND support, or transferable SEND support experience from residential, support and care backgrounds.
  • Positive, outgoing attitude will be key.

This role is long-term working weekdays only (Monday to Friday) during the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm. This role is term-time only. Pay rate ranging from £92.63 to £96.52, dependent on experience and qualifications.
