An exciting opportunity has become available for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding mainstream primary school in Liverpool from September. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping pupils build confidence and achieve their full potential through targeted intervention support.
Working primarily across Key Stage 2, you will deliver small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupils in achieving their academic goals, while working closely with class teachers and the wider school team.
The Role
- Deliver targeted interventions across Key Stage 2 to support pupil progress.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support in core curriculum subjects.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a primary school, ideally supporting Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Confidence delivering intervention sessions in English and Maths.
- A positive, proactive approach and a passion for supporting children's learning.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Able to provide employment references covering the last two years.
- Right to work in the UK.
