We’re currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across schools in Leicester and surrounding areas. This is a rewarding role where you’ll be helping children feel supported, confident, and able to engage with learning. Support may be on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, depending on the needs of the school.
What the role involves:
- Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Helping children stay engaged and focused during the school day
- Providing reassurance, routine, and encouragement
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
To be considered, you should have at least 6 months’ experience working with children with SEN, or experience in a similar role such as:
- Teaching Assistant
- Learning Support Assistant
- Care / Support Worker
- Youth Worker
- Residential Support Worker
