New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teachers to work in primary schools across the Leeds area.
We have both part-time and full-time positions available, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and career goals.
As a Key Stage One Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners and support their academic, social and emotional development.
You will create a positive classroom environment, assess pupil progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, school staff and parents.
- Support pupils' personal and educational development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage One.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
