Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Leeds area.
If you have previous experience managing a classroom and are confident delivering pre-planned lessons, we want to hear from you.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will
- Supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students to complete their work and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a classroom-based role is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Confident working with secondary-aged students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
