The Role
As an Art & Design Teacher, you will
- Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to explore a range of artistic techniques, materials, and creative processes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to varying abilities and learning styles.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
- Encourage students to develop confidence in their artistic abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and school where required.
- The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art & Design within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
- The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
- A flexible and professional approach to teaching.
