We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident practitioner who can lead whole-class learning, support pupil progress, and work collaboratively with teachers to deliver high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
- Support the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where appropriate
