The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils achieve their potential.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs when required.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- What We’re Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who have
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, coaching, or support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- The ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.
- A passion for helping children learn and succeed.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups.
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential for all roles.
