New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to work in schools across Crewe and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy working in a variety of school settings and are confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary age range. We work with a range of welcoming and supportive schools that are committed to creating positive learning environments and supporting both pupils and staff to achieve their full potential. Opportunities are available on a short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm basis. Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
The Role:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Providing high-quality teaching for day-to-day or longer-term cover
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
- Working collaboratively with school staff and support teams
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The flexibility and confidence to work across different year groups
- A proactive and professional approach
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable)
