New Directions Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, experienced Teaching Assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, tutors, or anyone with experience supporting young people who is looking to step into the classroom.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes of students
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support students to remain focused and engaged in their learning
  • Provide guidance and encouragement where needed
  • Ensure a safe, positive and productive classroom environment
