New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to support pupils in reaching their full potential in a classroom setting.
The Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to reinforce learning
- Assist in classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Help prepare classroom resources and activities
- Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar)
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential
