New Directions Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across
Cardiff .
We have a variety of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term assignments and long-term placements, with both full-time and part-time roles available.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language and SEMH.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create an inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare classroom resources and provide general classroom support.
- Weβre Looking For
- Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting.
- A positive, patient and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
