We are looking to recruit Welsh speaking Secondary Supply Teachers and are currently recruiting for highly motivated, flexible, and committed individuals to support secondary schools in the RCT area. Assignments can be on long or short-term with the flexibility for you to manage your own diary/availability. If you are committed, dedicated and looking for a new challenge in supportive and progressive schools then working for New Directions could be the answer! As we are recruiting for Welsh-medium schools, fluency in written and spoken Welsh is essential.
Job Specification
- Teach all areas of The Curriculum for Wales or your subject specialism
- Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
- Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
- Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Maintain discipline
- Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
- Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
