The Product Strategy team plays a critical role in shaping and strengthening NewDay's market-leading portfolio of credit card and Embedded Finance products. As a Product Strategy Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, surfacing relevant insights and intelligence that move strategy forward. This role supports the strategic arm of the team - building evidence, working with analysts to interpret data, and ensuring our product decisions are grounded in robust insight. You'll work across all brands in our portfolio (including Aqua, Marbles, Fluid, John Lewis & Partners, Pulse, Bip), helping ensure our propositions continue to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, differentiation, and commercial value. This is an excellent role for someone looking to develop towards future product strategy or product management pathways.

How you'll contribute:

  • Provide the evidential foundation for product strategy by monitoring dashboards, running consumer surveys to prove hypotheses, distilling insights, and supporting the collation of a monthly Portfolio Health Snapshot (customer insights, NPS drivers, feature usage, and more).
  • Drive evidence-based decision-making by translating data, research, and trends into clear narratives and structured insight packs that inform prioritisation and portfolio decisions.
  • Structure and maintain the innovation backlog, cataloguing ideas, tagging themes, capturing hypotheses, and supporting the development of a prioritisation framework.
  • Collate competitor intelligence tracking, collaborating with our Research SME on inputs, and partnering with colleagues to articulate "what this means for our portfolio".
  • Support strategic and execution workstreams, including strategic deep dives, JIRA board management.
