Junior Florist and Creative Designer

Rocket Food is looking for an experienced Junior Florist and Creative Designer to join our talented team. This is a hands‑on, sometimes client‑facing role where no two days are the same. From creating stunning floral installations and styling luxury tastings to transforming event spaces and keeping our shopfront looking exceptional, you’ll play a key role in delivering the creativity, quality and attention to detail that define Rocket Food.

The Role

• Styling and maintaining the front‑of‑house Rocket Food shopfront aesthetic, including reception areas, tasting rooms and client‑facing spaces. Ensuring it is seasonal, inspiring and consistently reflects the company’s brand and ethos.
• Producing creative concepts, mood boards, quotations and floral proposals for clients and events.
• Designing and creating bespoke floral arrangements for tastings and events.
• Creating seasonal canapé tray designs and innovative food presentation concepts that enhance the client experience and maintain our reputation for innovative design.
• Developing creative table‑to‑table (T2T) styling and presentation concepts that complement Rocket Food’s catering and event experiences.
• Supporting the wider events team with the installation, styling and breakdown of event décor and displays as required.
• Working closely with the Sales, Events and Kitchen teams to develop creative solutions for client briefs and event concepts.
• Building positive relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues, providing a professional and consultative service throughout the design process.
• Managing floral stock, materials and props, ensuring efficient ordering, storage and quality control.
• Staying up to date with seasonal trends, floristry techniques and design innovations, bringing fresh ideas to the business.
• Ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget and to Rocket Food’s exceptionally high standards of creativity and presentation.

About You

You’ll be:

• A florist with excellent design, styling skills;
• Naturally creative with a strong eye for colour, detail and presentation;
• Confident working directly with clients and understanding their vision;
• Happy working both independently and as part of a collaborative and creative team;
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects;
• Comfortable with early starts, event installations and working in a fast‑paced environment;
• Passionate about creating memorable experiences through flowers and design;
• Ideally, a driver.
