We are looking for freelance florists to work at the Hampstead Heath store of The Real Flower Company. We are family-owned, sustainable flower farmers and florists with two London stores. We sell our own (British) grown flowers and foliage throughout the growing season, specialising in scented bouquets. Our farms are located in Hampshire and West Sussex. All TRFC produce conforms to the LEAF standard (Linking Environment and Farming.)
We are seeking a confident florist, with a great eye and attention to detail, who is excited by the prospect of working with British farm grown flowers.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conditioning flowers, cleaning vessels, bunching flowers and creating bouquets.
- Greeting customers with a friendly, polite manner is very important to us.
- You may be responsible for opening and closing the shop β keeping it clean and visually appealing.
- Restocking floral displays and gifts as well as maintaining plants.
- Previous floristry experience is essential. Ideally two years\β experience, Level 2 Technical Certificate in Floristry (C&G) or similar.
- Experience in preparing arrangements for events such as weddings and funerals would be ideal.
