We are looking for experienced flower shop florists to join our hotel contracts team. Freelance, full-time, and part-time opportunities are available, working on a rota basis that includes some evenings and weekends.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting hotel guests and walk-in customers to ensure they receive the highest level of customer service
- Preparation of flowers, creating hand-tied bouquets and arrangements
- Assisting the floral team with event installations
- Ensuring the shop area is clean and tidy at all times
- Taking customer payments using the POS system
- Completing checks relating to flowers, vases, and accessories, to ensure adequate quality and levels of stock are maintained
- Assisting with other ad hoc duties, as required
Requirements:
- You will be a reliable and organised individual with a minimum of one year's floristry and shop experience.
Skills Required:
- Well presented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers
- Availability to work during peak periods – Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas is essential
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and undertake some manual lifting.
