Reports to: Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager

Position type: Full Time preferable but will consider part-time (with guaranteed flexible overtime)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a professional, friendly and reliable Event Warehouse Assistant & Driver to join our growing team. This busy hybrid position will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Preparing and packing props using a detailed job list
  • Regular stock checks to maintain an accurate stock inventory
  • Packing props and flower arrangements securely, before loading these onto the vans, ready for delivery
  • Supporting the florist team with vase prep, packing arrangements, tidying the warehouse amongst other tasks
  • Unloading post event, then cleaning and tidying away props
  • Driving on site to help deliver and clear events
  • Assisting with the installation and collection of events as required
  • Ensuring all events are delivered and cleared responsibly whilst adhering to high client standards and strict venue rules
  • Flexibility to assist in the early morning and late at night, especially during busy periods

REQUIREMENTS

  • Clean driver’s license (with experience of driving Luton Vans)
  • Physically fit and ability to lift heavy objects if required
  • Good punctuality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Some early mornings, evenings, and weekend work will be required.

HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of the floral events industry
  • Knowledge of London roads and neighbourhoods
  • Knowledge of London venues, including museums, hotels and event spaces
