Based in Marylebone, central London. We offer a full contract service for our clients, designing and installing luxurious floral arrangements in hotels, private homes, restaurants and offices. We work closely with our clients to ensure all requirements are fulfilled and to deliver a seamless and reliable service.
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time driver and logistical support person to join our team. The role will require the individual to drive the company vehicle to deliver and collect items as required in and around London. You will be required to drive a vehicle(s) owned by the company. The role will also involve providing logistics support to the company, including (but not limited to):
β Installing and clearing weekly contract flowers at various venues;
β Installing and clearing event flowers and materials at various venues;
β Keeping the business premises tidy and in order;
β Working with the Studio Manager, Shop Manager and Directors on logistics for specific projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ideally you would have previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, including experience supporting installation of large events;
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively;
- A valid driver\βs licence with a clean driving record is essential;
- You will need to submit your valid clean driverβs license to the company on the start date of your employment. The company expects employees who drive company vehicles to:
β drive safely and sober;
β respect traffic laws and fellow drivers;
β if applicable, wear glasses or contacts when driving;
β document any driving-related expenses (e.g. fuel);
β check the vehicle regularly to ensure petrol, tire pressure and all vehicle fluids are at appropriate levels;
β report any damages or problems with the company vehicles to the Directors as soon as possible;
β and avoid parking in restricted areas, blocking entrances and engaging in other traffic violations that may result in fines.
What we offer
Salary β from Β£26,000+ (experience depending).
