Do you have strong industry experience in electrical installation and a passion for developing the next generation of electricians? This is a great opportunity to work with apprentices in the workplace, supporting them to develop their skills, achieve their qualifications and progress in their careers. You’ll play a key role in assessing competence, providing feedback and ensuring learners meet industry standards.
What you’ll do:
- Assess apprentices in the workplace against qualification standards
- Support learners to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support progress
- Monitor and track learner progress, ensuring timely achievement
- Work closely with employers to support apprentice development
- Maintain accurate records and assessment documentation
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- Industry experience in electrical installation
- A relevant electrical qualification (Level 3 or above)
- An assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with learners and employers
- A proactive and supportive approach to learner development
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
