Do you have experience in the motor vehicle industry and a passion for developing the next generation of technicians? This is a great opportunity to work with apprentices in the workplace, supporting them to develop their skills, achieve their qualifications and progress into successful careers within the automotive industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Assess apprentices in the workplace against motor vehicle qualification standards
  • Support learners to develop their technical knowledge, skills and behaviours
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support progress
  • Monitor and track learner progress to ensure timely achievement
  • Work closely with employers to support apprentice development
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body and quality standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Industry experience within the motor vehicle / automotive sector
  • A relevant qualification in automotive or motor vehicle studies (Level 3 or above)
  • An assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with learners and employers
  • A proactive and supportive approach to learner development
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel
