Do you see potential where others see barriers? Do you believe that education should be a launchpad into the world of work, not a waiting room?

We’re looking for a passionate, people-focused Tutor to join our Project SEARCH team – a life-changing supported internship programme for young adults with additional needs. This isn’t your average teaching role. You’ll be based at Amazon, working hands-on with a small cohort of 18–25-year-olds, helping them transition from education into meaningful employment. This is a term-time role.

You will:

  • Empower young adults with SEND to thrive in real-world work placements at Amazon and beyond.
  • Deliver engaging sessions that blend employability skills with essential maths and English – think less textbook, more toolkit.
  • Coach and mentor students in the workplace using Systematic Instruction – guiding them through challenges and celebrating their wins.
  • Collaborate with employers like Amazon, Swindon Borough Council, and Great Western Hospital to create inclusive, supportive environments.
  • Set SMART goals that inspire progress and build confidence.
  • Track progress and ensure support is effective and meaningful.
  • Be the bridge between education and employment, unlocking potential and creating opportunities.

You will need:

  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to acquire one during employment).
  • Experience working with young people with additional needs.
  • A knack for building relationships – with students, employers, and colleagues alike.
  • A belief in the power of education to transform lives.
  • A sense of humour, purpose, and a serious commitment to inclusion.

You’ll be part of a trailblazing programme that’s redefining inclusive education. Working in a real-world setting (inside Amazon!), you’ll help shape futures and perhaps even your own. This is more than a job – it’s a mission. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, think outside the classroom, and make an impact, we want to hear from you.

Benefits include: 5.6 weeks holiday paid in salary, 21.7% College pension contribution to LGPS, health care cash plan, free parking, discounts on Hair & Beauty, on-site gym, staff training, Retail Discount Scheme, and more!

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.

Please note: this vacancy may close early if enough applications are received. To apply, you MUST have the Right to Work in the UK.
