This is a key leadership role focused on driving high-quality inclusive provision across adult and apprenticeship programmes. You’ll play a central role in shaping strategy, supporting teams and ensuring learners with SEND receive the support they need to achieve and progress.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and support inclusive learning across adult and apprenticeship provision
- Drive high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners with SEND
- Support curriculum teams to embed inclusive practice and meet learner needs
- Monitor performance, progress and outcomes, driving continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development of SEND and inclusion strategy across the College
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support compliance with SEND legislation, funding and regulatory requirements
- Line manage and develop staff, supporting high performance and professional growth
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in SEND, inclusion or additional learning support within FE or a similar setting
- Experience of leadership or management within education or support services
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice
- Ability to drive quality improvement and positive learner outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
