We’re looking for someone who can guide, support, and assess learners as they work towards their engineering qualifications and apprenticeships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, understands industry standards, and wants to make a real impact on learner success.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out competency-based assessments in workplace and classroom environments
  • Provide clear feedback, guidance, and support to learners throughout their qualification
  • Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records using e-portfolio systems
  • Liaise with employers to make sure workplace tasks align with qualification requirements
  • Promote strong engineering, health and safety, and industry best practices
  • Participate in standardisation meetings and keep assessment knowledge up to date
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across assessment practices and processes

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised engineering qualification at Level 3 or above
  • An assessor qualification such as TAQA, A1 or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of learners
  • Desirable: IQA qualification, experience delivering apprenticeships, or knowledge of current engineering technologies and practices
