The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.
What you'll do:
- Assess apprentices in the workplace against qualification standards.
- Support learners to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support progress.
- Monitor and track learner progress to ensure timely achievement.
- Work closely with employers to support apprentice development.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and quality standards.
What we're looking for:
- Assess engineering apprenticeship standards, including Machining, Mechatronics, and Engineering Technician, ensuring learners meet required competencies and industry standards.
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification (Level 3 or above), demonstrating strong technical knowledge across engineering disciplines.
- Possess a recognised assessor qualification (essential), ensuring high-quality and compliant assessment practice.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, enabling effective planning, feedback delivery, and documentation management.
- Adopt a proactive and supportive approach to learner development, providing guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to help individuals achieve their full potential.
- Hold a full driving licence with willingness to travel, supporting on-site workplace assessments and employer visits.
