We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Casual Lecturers to join our team on a part‑time, temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions that meet curriculum requirements and standards.
- Plan and prepare lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and other required documentation.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement activities where appropriate.
- Support students’ personal development and encourage a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable subject expertise relevant to the courses being delivered.
- Experience teaching in further education, adult education, or a similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Ability to deliver lessons that are inclusive and accommodate learners with diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo one prior to appointment.
