Are you an Accounting professional looking to inspire the next generation of finance professionals and share your industry expertise? This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Digital & Professional department, delivering high-quality AAT programmes across adult and apprenticeship provision. You'll help learners develop the technical knowledge, professional behaviours and practical skills needed to build rewarding careers in accounting and finance, while working within an experienced and supportive team at an approved AAT centre. Whether you're already teaching or looking to move into education from industry, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across AAT Accounting programmes from Level 2 to Level 4
- Teach a range of learners across adult and apprenticeship provision using face-to-face, blended and online delivery models
- Inspire learners to develop the skills and confidence needed for successful careers in accounting and finance
- Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement
- Develop engaging learning resources that reflect current industry practice
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department
- Work collaboratively with employers and colleagues to enhance the learner experience
- Support learners to progress into employment, higher education or further professional qualifications
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Accounting or a related subject, MAAT status (or above), or equivalent industry qualifications
- Significant industry experience within accounting or finance
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience teaching, training or mentoring learners, apprentices or colleagues
- Strong knowledge of AAT qualifications and current accounting practices
- Excellent communication, organisational and digital skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and adults
