Are you passionate about supporting learners with additional needs to succeed, grow in confidence and achieve their ambitions? We're looking for a dedicated Inclusive Learning Lecturer to join our Inclusive Learning team. This rewarding role involves working with learners who have SEND or barriers to learning, helping them develop independence, life skills and employability through engaging and supportive teaching. You'll deliver inclusive and creative learning programmes, support students to build confidence, develop key life skills and progress into further education, training or employment.
What you'll do:
- Deliver engaging teaching across programmes including Personal and Social Development, Independent Living and Employability
- Support learners with SEND and additional needs to develop confidence, independence and life skills
- Plan and review individual learning programmes, ensuring EHCP support requirements are met
- Track learner progress and provide feedback to support positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with parents, employers and external agencies to support learner progression
- Deliver Functional Skills, life skills and employability-focused learning where required
- Contribute to curriculum development and inclusive teaching practices
- Support enrichment activities, trips and residential opportunities for learners
What we're looking for:
- A passionate educator committed to supporting learners with SEND or barriers to learning
- Experience working with young people or adults in inclusive or SEND settings
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A patient, supportive and student-centred approach to teaching
- Enthusiasm for inclusive education and helping learners reach their full potential
