Are you passionate about animals and ready to inspire the next generation of animal care professionals? We re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Animal Management.
You ll need to understand and deliver a range of Level 2 & 3 Animal Management courses, including anatomy and physiology, biology, health and safety, biosecurity and sustainability. You will be supporting students to achieve their best through engaging lessons, practical learning, and industry links.
This role is 4 days per week, and a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year (July 2026)
What you ll do:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching and learning in Animal Management
- Act as a personal tutor, providing support and guidance to learners
- Work with local and national employers to promote employability and work-based learning
- Contribute to continual improvement and team development
What we re looking for:
- A teaching qualification would be desirable or experience teaching in the sector.
- Strong background working with Animals / Animal Management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development
