As a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver top-notch teaching to both Study Programme learners and apprentices
- Act as a mentor, motivator and occasional miracle-worker for your students
- Plan lessons, set assessments and help learners hit their targets (and not just with a nail gun)
- Bring your industry experience into the classroom to make learning real, relevant and rewarding
- Support learners with pastoral care and career guidance - because we care about the person, not just the portfolio
To apply, you will need:
- A Level 3 vocational qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience that proves you know your stuff)
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry
- A teaching qualification, or willingness to gain during employment
- A passion for passing on your skills and shaping the next generation of tradespeople
- Bonus points if you\'ve mentored apprentices, coached colleagues or trained up the next site legend
