Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to achieve independence and success? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Evolve Keyworker to join our Inclusive Learning team and provide one-to-one and group support to learners on our Evolve programme.
You’ll work with young people aged 16–25 with Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them overcome barriers, develop essential life skills, and progress in education, work, and daily living.
What you’ll do:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with complex needs or disabilities
- Help students work towards literacy, numeracy, and vocational qualifications
- Support learners to meet EHCP outcomes and RARPA targets
- Deliver practical coaching in independence skills, travel training, and employability
- Build positive, trusting relationships that promote resilience and confidence
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and support services to ensure learner needs are met
- Contribute to reports, risk assessments, and learner progress tracking
What we’re looking for:
- Level 2 qualifications in English, Maths, and ICT
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in youth work, mentoring, or guidance
- Experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH, or complex learning needs
- Excellent communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
- Flexible and adaptable approach — some off-site and varied working may be required
