Work Based Assessor – Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

NCL is looking to appoint a Work Based Assessor to support, assess and verify candidates undertaking SVQs at SCQF Level 6 in Engineering. The suitable candidate will be qualified to SVQ Level 3 (SCQF Level 6) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and in possession of a minimum HNC in a related discipline. You will be in possession of (or willing to work towards) relevant formal Assessor & Verifier qualification relating to the gathering & verification of evidence of learner attainment in a range of work settings.
Successful candidates should hold (or be willing to work towards) a relevant H&S award such as IOSH Managing Safely.
Recent industrial experience in the Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Sector and knowledge of the relevant National Occupational Standards system is essential for this post, as is the ability to work to strict deadlines.
