LECTURER – PAINTER & DECORATOR

Motherwell Campus

Temporary until December 2025

Up to 28 hours per week

With experience in painting and decorating, you will have the skills necessary to support the teaching and development of these curriculum areas within the busy Faculty of Construction and Automotive.

With practical experience in the relevant discipline, you must have served a recognised Apprenticeship, and have post qualified industry work experience. You should be qualified to Advanced Craft, HNC (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent level of qualification, in an appropriate field. Possession of a teaching qualification, and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous, and ideally you will have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.

An effective communicator, and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines both within a team setting, and on your own.
