We are seeking a qualified practicing counsellor whose approach is person-centred for a temporary part-time lecturing post at New College Lanarkshire. It is essential that applicants have extensive experience in counselling adults and are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

You will support the teaching and development of the counselling curriculum within the Department of Dental, Science, Health & Social Care. The required working days are Monday and Wednesday.

Qualified to degree level (SCQF level 9), you must have a good understanding of the subject area. You will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate and encourage students.

Possession of a teaching qualification and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous, and you should ideally have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.

An effective communicator and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines and on your own initiative.
