Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Administrator

New College Lanarkshire is recruiting for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Administrator. The successful candidate will be working within an established small team but also must be confident lone working. Working as part of our Health, Safety & well-being team, you will support the provision of a proactive Health & Safety service, contributing to the positive Health & Safety culture within the College. You will be required to work across all of our campuses when required.

In this role, you will assist the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team with the implementation of the College\’s Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring the College meets its obligations in complying with all relevant health and safety legislation and good practice. You will promote a positive Health and Safety ethos, supporting managers, staff, and learners as appropriate.

You will hold an IOSH Managing Safely certificate or be willing to undertake this. You will have administrator experience and will be confident with preparing reports. You must be able to work on your initiative and be able to prioritise your workload, with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You will be a confident user of ICT and will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
