We hope to recruit enthusiastic and engaging individuals to teach Maths and join a dynamic and growing Maths Department at New College Durham. You will have the autonomy to deliver maths lessons using your own resources while working in a highly collaborative environment with expert practitioners.

Under the leadership of a progressive and committed Head of Maths, you will be well supported to deliver high-quality lessons to post-16 FE students and potentially part-time adults or apprentices. You will be supported with regular CPD from our in-house Teaching, Learning & Innovation team and have access to high-quality resources including iPads and CTouch interactive boards.

This job is an incredible opportunity to support our local region in levelling up by working with cohorts of learners desperate to gain the maths qualifications they need, whether it be GCSE or Functional Skills. As a Maths Lecturer, you will work in a supportive and well-led department with autonomy to sequence and plan maths lessons to best suit your learners' needs.
