We hope to recruit enthusiastic and engaging individuals to teach Maths and join a dynamic and growing Maths Department at New College Durham. You will have the autonomy to deliver maths lessons using your own resources and in your own sequence, all whilst working in a highly collaborative environment with expert practitioners. Under the leadership of a progressive and committed Head of Maths, you will be well supported to deliver high-quality lessons to post-16 FE students, part-time adults, and apprentices.
Plans for maths delivery in 24-25 include class sizes of 14, 90-minute lessons, streamed classes, and no maths classes will contain students studying a mixture of maths qualifications. You will be supported with regular CPD from our in-house Teaching, Learning & Innovation team and have access to high-quality resources including iPads and CTouch interactive boards.
